“All truth goes through three steps: first it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.” ~ Arthur Schopenhaur
When I look back at my journey as a healer, this quote seems so relevant. When I first entered the world of energy healing I learned a technique called EFT – the Emotional Freedom Technique. Now it is commonly referred to as tapping, or some variation of EFT.
People thought I was nuts. How could touching points on your body actually change your emotions, eliminate phobias, or resolve physical body issues?
But it did.
Then I was introduced to The Emotion Code, the Body Code, and several other healing modalities that I use regularly with amazing results.
To be clear, I don’t heal anyone. I work with my clients to re-ignite their body’s natural ability to heal. We put their body back into its natural healing state, so it can function the way it was designed to function. Heal the way it was created to heal. Just like a cut on your hand knows how to heal itself if you keep it clean, your entire being KNOWS how to heal if you keep it clean when it gets injured.
Thousands of healers all over the world work with clients to activate this inner healing process that exists inside each one of us. And then we sit back and expect a miracle.
The results have become so commonplace that the ridicule is dying out. The opposition is still there, but it is slowly morphing into acceptance as the scientific studies bear out the uncontestable results.
Now I tell people that I’m a healer without expecting opposition to the concept. Energy healing (or energy balancing) is becoming an accepted practice. And to the people who have embraced it, the results can be nothing short of miraculous.
And the truth that energy healing techniques provide measurable results is becoming self-evident. Woohoo!
